Failure to attain preset isokinetic target velocities in trained athletes was just one of the research projects presented today at the 2nd Susquehanna Valley Undergraduate Research Conference.
It was held in the Henry Hood Center for Health Research on the Geisinger Medical Center campus. 40 projects were presented…a big increase from the first year when they had 20-plus. The program gives undergraduate students an opportunity to do research which is relatively rare before graduate school. That way they can get started earlier, gain skills and get hooked on the process. The presentations covered topics in economics, sociology, chemistry, biochemistry, education and on clinical studies.
